Some people walk into a room and make an entrance. Others whisper their way through life, hoping no one notices them. Me? I walk in, trip over a chair, and still leave people inspired. That’s what this post is about: making an impact—even when your voice is small.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love loud. I am loud. I once gave a speech using a karaoke machine because the mic wasn’t “emotional enough.” But here’s the thing: volume isn’t what makes people listen. It’s authenticity. It’s speaking from the heart… or the gut. Or wherever emotions live.
You can whisper and still shake the room. That’s the power of truth. That’s the power of YOU.
Maybe you’re not the loudest in the meeting. Maybe you’re not the flashiest in the friend group. Maybe you get talked over every time you try to suggest a new flavor of office coffee. Doesn’t matter. When what you say is real—people feel it. You don’t need to raise your voice. You just need to raise your value.
So go ahead. Whisper. Speak soft. But make it count.
Because the loudest whisper? That’s the one people remember.
Stay bold,
Michael Scott
